Is there a benefit to larger nipples?

I have always had small nipples and I have discovered that I can enlarge them at least temporarily using a nipple sucker designed for inverted nipples. I love to see them this large. Currently I am still dry. I had tried to lactate last year and was unsuccessful. I also do not have a partner, but have considered trying to find one in the future. My question is does this method of enlarging the nipples either help or hinder the process? Also perhaps from the view point of a partner, would you prefer a larger nipple, and does it make latching easier?
