Flurry of job firings today—VA, Energy, Nuclear, Interior, CDC. Are you okay with this?

Do Republicans or conservatives have any objections or concerns about this, or is it generally welcomed?

Also, I noticed these are direct firings rather than offer to voluntary resign. I guess those who were given the option last week but made a lot of media noise FAFO'd for everyone else. I just wonder: are direct firings like this actually legal?
