How much to put in a wedding card?

Hi everyone, friend has a wedding abroad. Wondering how much would you leave in a wedding card? Considering it's abroad and a bit out of the way/not easily accessible. Would the effort of getting there negate the amount? I'd be putting 100 in per person normally.
