this guy wanted to gang r*pe me with his friends

hiiii i'm 18f and i was just talking to a guy. we're not exactly in any sort of situationship/relationship but he is added on all my socials (insta, snap etc but we mainly talk on instagram). he's conventionally attractive and has admitted to finding me pretty, too. he texts me a lot and we mostly have normal/civil conversations.

a week back, he was apparently "messing" around with me and called me a "bitch" and a "whore" and proceeded to gaslight me into thinking that he was just being "informal" and that he only jokes around this way with people he cares about. i was taken aback and obviously felt insulted. i told him that he's never going to hear from me after this.

i ghosted him for a week, during which he sent me multiple reels (hello???) and pretended that nothing happened. he sent me tons of snaps on snapchat as well, which i didn't open.

i finally opened his snaps and sent him a message back, because i thought maybe he felt guilty about what he said and was trying to rectify it (although he never attempted to apologise.) the convo was going normal UNTIL he said he was going to go watch a movie and he asked me for movie recs. i playfully sent him an "idk" sticker and then he responded with something i couldn't even BELIEVE i was seeing. he said "the next time you open your mouth i'm going to bury you alive" and then proceeded to say "only after i've used you and discarded you."

at this point i had literally FROZEN because NO ONE has ever said that to me. he proceeded to say that he's going to bring his friends and r*pe me and i was literally so shocked that i unadded him and blocked him on all socials.

is this how all teenage boys think? is this their response to hating someone? was he saying this sh!t because he was mad that i ghosted him a week prior? i know he's not actually going to do any of that, he was just trying to get a rise out of me. BUT this is some insane level stuff I've ever heard come out of a guy's mouth, and i'm so scared i never want to talk to another guy ever again. have any of you ever encountered boys who think/speak this way? please just let me know, i'm still frozen w shock and i don't even know what to do.
