BF1 graphics could pass as a new games

I’m new to BF games but everything about this game is pleasing.. animations, graphics, how fluid everything is… BF2042 feels like a microwaved steak. I sometimes ponder how they messed it up that badly? The quality of BF2042 doesn’t compare to any other Battlefield I have played, it doesn’t even feel like a Battlefield game.
