Harvest Notes - novogranatense 🍃

I pulled 116 grams of fresh leaves and they finally air dried to a crisp and are now just over 30 grams. I have multiple batches but this is the first that’s completely dry. So, that makes right at 26% dried weight which is 12% higher than I thought it would be for the Hawaiins. I also have some Bolivian novos that have a more fibrous leaf that’s heavier. I ran a small batch of those and they are 32% dried.

What are you all getting and what is your drying process? I air dry with some extra heat in the house and that does the trick for me. I harvest when the plants are dry but I don’t always pay attention to that. I like to harvest every 1.5 months to 3 months depending on various factors. I have not got a percentage off the E coca yet but those leaves are much heavier than any novo.
