[DISCUSSION] Just finished reading this... mixed feelings
Basically I think I'm just not a big fan of Grant Morrisson. I really enjoyed the first arc, Batman and Son. Loved the introduction of Damian Wayne, and the way they write Batman. But then, like most of Grant's work I have read, the rest was a mix of "this is top tier stuff", "this references stuff I have absolutely no clue about", and "this jumps around too much and I am confused". I had the same feeling with All Star Superman. They really nail the characterisation, the inner voice of the character, but there's so much exposition dumps and reference to obscure stuff and concepts that in the end the great bouts of character moments are overshadowed by quasi nonsensical plots. There is also the possibility that I am too dumb.
I'll probably get the follow up books, but so far I am not feeling it too much.
