What are your biggest struggles on trying to buy your first home?

My biggest struggle is homes are at too high of a price point in my area. I'd love to own MY own home, there's just something about it. But what about the rest of the country? I'm curious what peoples motivations and road blocks are. I've struggled with the idea of moving out of state, but maybe that's the beauty of this country, is that we can move freely in order to better ourselves.
