Rod advice

Hi guys,

Just arrived in Australia and looking for a starter rod to go fishing sometime. Specifics: - not too expensive - useable for relatively smaller fish - portable, since I’m gonna be traveling a lot

I don’t have a background in fishing, so all advice is welcome.
