How do I play the Pico update?

I checked the Itch.IO and downloaded v5 bit I can't play as Pico. I was trying to help my brother play as Pico but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

When I open the game it still has the old style of selecting songs. What am I doing wrong?
