Reduced Reinforcements - "Operations on this Planet receive one less reinforcement because it does not contribute to the current Major Order." (text post)
Reinforcement Budget is 5 per Helldiver. This modifier(title) would result in a 20% reduction in available reinforcements, counterable by the Increased Reinforcement Budget Booster.
Reduced Reinforcement Rules:
-1 Reinforcement/Player if a planet doesn't meet ANY of these conditions:
Contributes to the Current Major Order
Has a Defense Campaign / is the originating planet for a Defense Campaign
Is the current location of the DSS
This Operation Modifier is NOT in effect while there is no Major Order. (Freestyle)
Example:
MAJOR ORDER: Kill One Billion Terminids
- All Terminid-infested planets satisfy
Condition 1
. - All Illuminate missions are defense missions satisfying
Condition 2
. - Automaton missions aren't part of the Major Order. So unless a Bot planet has a defense campaign /originates a defense campaign or is the location of the DSS that planet has less reinforcement budget.
Why?
Dramatic Irony. Reducing reinforcement budget adds to the "Super Earth is losing the war" theory, makes strategic sense for verisimilitude, and provides players some guide-rails.
TL;DR - If u don't contribute, get less recruit
