When one is transplanting a pepper plant to its forever home 5 gallon pot; and, he or she accidentally gets a lot of dry soil on the under leafs - what’s the best way to get it off the leafs?

to prevent bacterial infection in instances where the leaf gets wet and then the soil gets wet cause it’s stuck to the leafs underside because accidents happen

I was thinking of procuring keyboard duster and being very gentle on the leaves
