Hardwood flooring company question

We recently became owners of a house that is 110 years old and all the hardwood floors need refinishing, as well as laying new flooring upstairs. We recently had Korfhage and Highland Flooring come out for estimates and Monday we have Footprints Flooring come out to give their estimate. So far there is a $2000 difference in the estimates, but I don't want to base our choice off simply one being cheaper. Does anyone have any experience with these companies and what is your opinion. We want to make sure it is done right and stays with the character of the home. Any and all advice is welcomed.
