cruising soon (meraviglia) , some questions beforehand

i’m doing the 7 day cruise from brooklyn to florida and bahamas in 2 weeks and i had some questions about msc as i’ve only ever been on celebrity cruises and i was a child then.

does anyone know the tea selections? i like to have tea every day and i was curious what options they had. more specifically if they had a chai. if not would i be able to bring some bags onboard ?

getting off the ship - we have a time of 7am t9 arrive back in brooklyn and my flight is at 830, has anyone experienced delays in getting off that could result in missing a flight?

do you think my friend and i could get away with doing 1 alcohol package and 1 non alcohol and mixing drinks ourselves (her getting a double shot of whatever and then me getting a sprite and then mixing so we both have a drink) this would lower the cost of being able to drink. curious if they monitor how many drinks you’re getting.

and are they any surprise charges when you get home? this is my first time paying for a cruise myself and i want to know if i need to expect any additional charges.

UPDATE: okay okay i hear yall, i made a dumb decision on my flight i get it. i failed to realize it would be rush hour bc it was a sunday but i guess they say new york never sleeps for a reason. anyway flight is rebooked to 1pm, much more reasonable.

and we’re in the same room so we are both going to get the drink package.

i’m gonna bring some chai tea bag’s in case the bar doesn’t have any.
