New Orleans Pelicans receive: Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, and Raptors 2026 1st round pick via Pacers due to Siakam trade
New look Raptors
- PG- Immanuel Quickley
- SG- RJ Barrett (moves to 2 guard)
- SF- Scottie Barnes (moves back to SF)
- PF- Brandon Ingram (as your new PF)
- C- Jakob Poeltl
Off this trade, Raptors keep their 2025 pick but give up their 2026 pick via Indiana to the Pelicans...they get Ingram in the process and the rebuild is more or less fast tracked as the Raptors then become ready to compete in the East next year for 2025-2026 as you pair Ingram with RJ, Scottie and Quickley
But then you potentially end up with Flagg, Harper, Bailey or whoever plus you have Dick and you have him come off the bench in a 6th Man role...it sets itself
Plus salaries have to match hence why Brown and Olynyk go the other way to New Orleans plus the draft pick
