is tingling and numbness apart of cataplexy?

Since november/october I have been having tingling and or numbness primarily in my legs and feet, sometimes my hands. My primary care doctor suspected it could be possibly due to my cataplexy, and advised me to ask my sleep specialist. I mentioned it to him but he brushed over the question without answering. I have done labs to check my blood chemistry and it is normal. I have a follow up appointment with my primary care doctor in about a week to see what it could possibly be. I was wondering if this is apart of cataplexy or if it could be attributed to something else?
