3d printed blasters and safety in a new light

I don't know who all watches FBI on CBS/PARAMOUNT PLUS, but I think the episode on 2/11 has highlighted a safety concern. In the episode the ghost guπs are made like the blasters we love and use because the firearm look isn't a factor of it. For crying out loud the FTP is bright orange and black and blocky as possible.

After watching the episode I had people ask me if that's the type of thing I make, referencing the 3d printed parts and blasters I work on. It's like the general population is guπing for the hobby community and are trying to influence more people to see us all in a negative light.

This just goes to reinforce the need to have well planned events and let the police know ahead of time. I would hate to see nerf get to the limited area of use like airsoft and paintball.
