MSI MPG 322URX Conundrum
So I recently got my first OLED monitor (MSI MPG 322URX) to go with my new 5090 PC. I also have 2 older monitors as side pieces (ACER EI342CKR and Acer XF240H). I have all of them connected with display ports, including the new 322URX with the 2.1a. The problem I am running into is that whenever I play a video on netflix or crunchyroll with the 322URX at anything higher than 60hz, my computer blue screens (error nvlddmkm.sys).
Things I have tried/noticed/found interesting:
- I did a DDU install of fresh drivers at the behest of MSI support, but the issue persists.
- Gaming and everything was completely fine. Just watching netflix and crunchyroll (youtube was completely fine), on any browser, caused bluescreens.
- If I have both monitors turned off, I can watch shows on the 322URX just fine, but if any other screen is on and the refresh rate is higher than 60 on the 322URX, I get a blue screen.
- I have changed the refresh rates of all the other monitors to make them higher, lower, or the same, and nothing seems to work.
- Updated the firmware of the 322URX
- The ONLY thing that has worked is an HDMI cable. When I have my high-end HDMI cable plugged into the 322URX and my computer, everything works completely fine with no issues whatsoever.
I am completely stumped here. I am really quite new with the whole OLED thing and truly tried to do my research before buying, but I am feeling like I am missing something big here that is causing all of this.
Thanks for any help that anyone can provide <3
