Long-distance texting/phone calls before MMC/FMC officially meet/fall for each other?

I'm a sucker for this trope, the long-distance banter (when done right) and the anticipation for them to meet is everything. Here are some favorites that have this element (imo):

Reasonable Doubt by Whitney G. - FMC is in law school and uses a fake identity on a website meant for lawyers in order to seek out a lawyer's expertise to help her ace her cases, ends up getting in contact with MMC. Her and MMC start emailing/texting/phone calling each other daily, and while MMC wants to see her and grows impatient, FMC is busy trying to deflect and keep her identity hidden. Honestly the email/phone banter in the first half of the book is the best thing ever, better than the whole series combined actually. I worship Whitney just for this alone.

Little Bird by Jenika Snow - Big age gap, but MMC has no interest in FMC until later. FMC harbors a one-sided crush for MMC as a teen and idolizes him. He ends up going to prison for 5 years and during that time she secretly sends him letters despite him telling her not to. The long-distance ''letters'' are pretty one-sided but I still enjoyed the concept of it. As time goes by he starts caring for her and when she starts slipping pictures in her letters, he becomes obsessed with her.

Brutal Bargain - L.J. Anderson - Zombie apocalypse, big age gap. FMC is alone and in hiding, but is starting to run low on supplies/food. She ends up trying to contact other survivors through CB Radio and MMC ends up answering. There is some banter going on and he ends up using the situation to his advantage, offering her a deal. Then walks her through an escape plan in order for them to meet. Over the top and asshole-ish MMC but again, I liked it.

It's a bit hard to find books with this trope so if you have any good recs, please throw them my way. 🙏
