Does no one else think Yuri's lie is that he unalived himself?

I just got lying vibes when I heard his story. And his lack of communication and isolation could be a sort of rehab/punishment he gives himself. He talks about living as being painful itchy uncomfortable and the calmness of ghosthood being preferred.

I don't know how this plays into Jante and his relation but this is his secret in my opinion.
