Light rail safe for late ride by single female?

I’m going to a show near the stadiums tomorrow night. Want to take Light Rail to the International District. The way there is daytime, but the way home could be midnight. I can get someone to drop me at the station, but how will it be from there? I take buses a lot and find even some of the sketchy routes okay enough, but it’s different on light rail where the stations and cars are not manned. Would a single woman feel safe?
