Mount Cook, New Zealand

Last year I got to experience the beauty of New Zealands highest mountain - Mount Cook. After doing the short 5k hike out along the Hooker Valley Track I spent the night in freezing conditions alone under the stars. It was just after a huge snow dump and the sky was perfect all night - probably my favourite night of stargazing.
