Scones, helluva snack!
Kindergarten teacher here.
Today we baked scones, because one of my students asked what bread grows from. The whole question sparked a smaller project where we study wheat, what farmers do, and the process of making it!
The kids loved it, I was fairly stressed, kept it together and hopefully taught them something. The kids who didn't stay for snack time proudly showed their parents what they baked!
Energy was high all day, and we all had fun! Listened to a lot of music, and just had fun with it 🫡.
Next we're moving onto yeast and possibly other pastries. Fucking love my job.
