Evie is…odd?

Doing a rewatch, and teen Evie is not remotely tethered to reality. Was she rehearsing for a play or something when Alice found her in her costume at the pond? She reminds me of a much younger girl playing make believe than a teenager on the cusp of womanhood. Her older personality couldn’t be more different, and unrequited teen love and a marriage ending in divorce could not have changed it that much. Del had true tragedy and still retained some aspects of her personality.
