Anything matters?

I have been reading about the most foundational question of human life..why we exist.whats our purpose..who created us. Most of philosophers tries to ans it subtle way that there is someone who created us. And theory or kamra, someone is having good life because of his/her past life's and vise versa. It's very unfortunate for many of us and we keep living with this concept.. The question I am asking here is if nothing is in our hands what keeps you going.. sometimes things can be very very biased just because of luck(some people say).

I work in very good software company..but sometimes I feel in the end it doesn't even matter.. nothing makes sense.. Ethics,morality, gratitude everywhere we are biased with looks, status , gender religion what not..
