A Call for Compassion and Understanding in Our Community

As we process the election results, it’s important to remember that our community is diverse, with a range of perspectives, emotions, and experiences. Regardless of how you feel about the outcome, today some members of our community are grappling with feelings of loss, anxiety, or uncertainty about the future.

These emotions are valid, and for some, the results may carry a weight that impacts their focus, well-being, or sense of security. Even if their perspective is different from your own, please take a moment to practice empathy. Remember, none of us fully know the journey others are walking.

Let’s be kind to one another today and in the days ahead. Extend compassion and patience to those who may not be at their best, and let’s uphold our values of support and unity as we move forward together.

Thank you for making this campus a place of respect and understanding.
