SUN HOODIE for HOT HEAT (RIP Rab Pulse)

It's true. The infamous, impeccable Rab Pulse is discontinued, and the one I had was thrown away (don't ask how or why, it's was a tragedy beyond my control).

So I'm on the hunt for a new one. I have done some searching.

Name of the game here: HEAT MANAGEMENT. Vented, light, exposure protection. I'm a hot, sweaty boi. I sweat thru my shirt before even putting my pack on, lol.

Here are the ones I'm possibly interested in:
Patagonia Tropic Comfort Natural (heavy, seems sketch. Feel like it'd be hot in 90's+ hikes. Also, not tried-&-true like the discontinued Tropic Comfort II)

Rab Force (also heavy, high UPF, " bit heavier than the Pulse, but the CFM rating is about the same. Both super breathable." -Daniel @ Rab Customer support. Sus to me)

Voormi River Run: A merino wool blend that is mega light, stink-resistant. Main reservation: liable to be a little more fragile and fray when snagging on things (I have a tendency to bushwack), and also have heard reports of people getting burnt. Also afraid it'll be warm, and the thumb loop is kinda weird, eh.

This sun hoodie will be used for highly exposed, quite hot thru-hiking. It needs:
Mega-Quick drying
SUPER COOLING (main need)
Odor resistance (heavy use for up to 5-7 days without a wash between towns, don't want folks thinking I'm a bear from a mile off)
Super lightweight/thin (pref in the 4-7oz range)
MUST have thumb-holes. No one wants lobster claws.
Decent hoodie coverage, but also don't really care.
Don't care about how it fits or looks, or how much it cost
Super breathable. Don't care about wind protection. That's what other layers are for.
Not SUPER concerned about UPF rating, because the Rab Pulse was probably in the 20's, and I never got burned on exposed PCT hiking.
