A descent into madness

You ever catch yourself thinking "wow, that was only mild death threats today - people must be in a good mood"? Yeah, we need to talk about what Valorant is doing to us 💀

I've reached that beautiful stage of Stockholm syndrome where I consider it a "friendly match" if someone only questions my entire ancestry twice instead of the usual dozen times. The bar is so low it's practically breakdancing in hell.

The amount of ego in this game is wild. Like, my brother in Sage, you're Bronze 2 - why are you acting like you're single-handedly carrying TenZ's legacy? I've seen instalock Reynas with more confidence than Jeff Bezos's bank account.

The funniest part? I'm starting to think it's normal. Someone could be screaming about how they slept with my entire family tree and I'm just there like "yeah that tracks, Tuesday vibes."

Anyone else's brain turned into actual custard from playing this game, or is it just me? How did we get to a point where "decent human behavior" is as rare as a Reyna who actually flashes for their team?

Edit: To the Jett main who's already typing an angry response - yes, I know you carried that one game in 2022. Please let it go.
