batmans name comes from his fear of bats right?

then where does robin get his name from? i dont see him having a fear of robins and if he did how did batman find 3 kids and have a 4th who are afraid of robins? feels like a stupid question to ask but i was just thinking about it then and i never understood where he got his name from
