Why didn’t Gus take care of Tuco in prison

More specifically why didn’t he kill him while he was in prison. Gus could’ve easily hired someone to just stab him while in jail. One less Salamanca he has to deal with. Instead of waiting for him to get out of jail and be more predictable.
