Does refrigerated rice weigh more than regular cooked rice?
I usually make fried rice with leftover rice. I take the rice out of the refrigerator and then I weigh it on my food scale when it's still cold and hard. But does rice from the fridge weigh more than regular freshly cooked rice? For example, if I weigh out 100 grams of cold leftover rice, would it lose weight as it returns to room temperature? And does that mean I'm actually eating less calories than I think I am?
