Kaleidoscope Appreciation
Does Kaleidoscope give anyone else Elton John - Your Song vibes? Of course it's also a piano ballad but especially the lines:
"And if you ever find Someone who could write A better song for you Well I'd love to see them try Put it all in words And sing it all in tune There's no one else who could The only one is you" (my absolute FAVORITE line)
Compared with Elton John's Your Song: "I know it's not much but it's the best I can do My gift is my song and this one's for you And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is while you're in the world"
Who else loves Kaleidoscope? One of my favorite Chappell songs for sure, and it's pretty cool that Elton loves her too.
