Professions and sunk cost fallacy
I'll admit, I'm quite a noob (joined the game like a week ago and it's really fun). Playing priest (healer). Overall getting the hang of the game, but I believe I screwed up in one particular matter - the professions.
Of course, being a caster class I picked tailoring and I don't regret that, but my second was enchanting. I've much later come to learn enchanting is expensive, extremely beginner unfriendly, and doesn't give you much in the leveling process, so I've been considering dropping it for something else. Unfortunately, having leveled it to 40 already, and having lots of stockpiled essence (dust went for levels) I feel like dropping out would be a massive waste. Should I say "screw it" and pick skinning or herbalism, or should I continue maxing it out?
