What is Trump getting back from Russia by turning its back on Ukraine?

I've seen lots of post in favor or against this. However none address the question what is Russia giving back in return?

• Savings to US tax payers? Too simple
• Money for Trump's family in the taken lands?
• Russia's exit from Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua? Makes sense
• Soffocate Europe as one of the challengers to US dominance? Maybe, but there is still China and India
