Permanent Relic Glitch effect

Very annoying. I honestly thought it was some part of story progression, like it was an effect that was there because my mind was deteriorating, and that it would go away after a certain level of story progression. But after about 4 hours of play I realized there was no way devs intended for this to be a legitimate thing as it's far too annoying and obscuring. Apparently it's a glitch that comes from a quest. My save files don't go that far back in the game, so I can't just reset back to then, is there any sort of other method to fix it. Pretty shitty and major glitch. Series S, by the way
