Release "TIME" Expansion......

As the title states, I wonder if the end date being Oct 7th on my end means the new season will start at 12 am EST Oct 8th ? Or should we expect a normal S6 release window which is 1pm EST on the 8th ? Since its the launch of an expansion, I am curious if that will modify the "norm".

In game it says that its ending on the 7th.
