Problem with Eero and Blink Cameras

Hi,

I have a system with 7 Blink cameras, and I am having sporadic connection issues. Sometimes, when I try to load the live video I get a "Live view failed" error. That happens around 30% of the times I try to get a live video.

I called Blink's support and they told me the problem is that Blink cameras can only connect to 2.4Ghz wifi networks. The fact that Eero merges the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz signal under a single SSID can cause issues with the Blink cameras.

He recommended splitting the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz networks, and connecting the Blink system to the 2.4Ghz network . I looked into the Eero settings, but I could not find a way to do that.

How do you split the two networks? (i.e. different SSIDs).

Are Blink cameras incompatible with Eero? (that would be unfortunate since they are both Amazon companies).
