Hills Science or Blue Wilderness?

I have a 9-week old boy right now and when my partner and I took him for his first check-up and round of shots, the vet recommended we switch his food to Hills Science. This is my first dog ever, but I do have a cat and landed on Blue Wilderness for her after doing my own nutritional research. I was planning on staying with Blue Wilderness for my puppy, but now I’m not sure which direction to go in. Hills seems fine, but I know that a lot of vets are incentivized by the brand to recommend it. Our vet was honest and let us know that throughout vet school, Hills provided all the vet students with free food for their own pets so his opinion wasn’t completely unbiased and that he continues to choose Hills on his own accord today. I know a lot of people do Hills and are perfectly happy with it, but I’m still questioning the bias of the recommendation. My partner’s parents also use Hills for their dogs because that was their vet’s recommendation and they are all incredibly healthy. So I’m sure it’s fine, but I’m curious if anyone uses Blue Wilderness for their goldens and how that has worked for them.
