Anyone use Aim Point? I have questions …
I’ve watched a few videos recently on Aim Point.
Quite frankly I’m a bit rubbish at reading greens and it seems like a lot of voodoo to me, on the surface of it everything about it seems like it would work but when I’m on a green trying it out I just don’t feel these 1/2/3 degree of slopes unless it is seriously tilted and obvious.
I’ve spent a lot on golf and gadgets over the years, I don’t really want to go out and get a digital level to teach myself as I feel it would be overkill for amateur golf and feel burned by buying other sh*t that didn’t really work for me. Does anyone feel the same way? I’d just like to get a better / more confident in reading greens.
So other questions:-
Do any of you use AP effectively as an amateur?
Did you just keep trying it until you got the hang of it?
Am I just a dummy for not being able to feel these nuanced slopes!?
Is there something you do in terms of technique to make any slope more obvious? Like stepping in a certain way … swaying e.g?
Is it something intuitive you have to feel within a few secs of standing on a slope or otherwise you lose the feeling?
Many questions …
