Why should Octavia be happy that Stolas escaped his abuser when she's now stuck with said abuser?

Stella bullied Octavia in Sinsmas by confiscating her phone. Stolas has freedom now and he lives with a loving boyfriend. Octavia has no loving family to live with. Why should she be happy for Stolas when she's miserable?
