College Hockeys most high profile program, the University of North Dakota, fired its coach this week. He won 64% of his games, won one title, and won the NCHC conference 50% of his tenure.

It’d absolutely brutal being a coach of a blueblood in any sport. It’s just crazy those stats weren’t good enough for UND.

That said it somehow seemed like a step back from the programs historical results as good as it was.
