Why people in this game think they're playing a singleplayer game?

Seriously, I just can't undestand. What is the problem on playing around the fed person on your team instead of running it down 10x on side lane? Why don't you buy The Witcher, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, etc on Steam then? You can easily be the main character there.
