Wi-Fi card not working

I recently built my first PC and because I cannot use ethernet from where I am using it, and my motherboard does not have wifi baked in I purchased a wifi card which is:

After installing Windows 11 I noticed no wifi was showing up so I dragged my computer into my living room and hooked it up to ethernet. I tried installing the Intel wifi driver but that did not help my case iI then cracked open my PC and double-checked that it was securely in the PCI-e slot and still no connection. any ideas on what is going on?
