Backing recommendations-

I messed around and made this crib-ish sized wonky top- what would you use for a backing fabric? Love seeing your suggestions— side note, I really think I want to bind OR border it in black and white stripes- but am open. I’ll likely set this aside and start on something new until I figure this out;) Will report back in a few (6) months.
