My nparents didn't wish me happy birthday out of jealousy

Today it is my birthday and I'm at my bf's home. My nparents did not like this, they have always been jealous of me staying with him, and this day especially they did not like the fact that for some small transportation problems I had to stay all day at my bf's house.

Before leaving this morning I said hello to my nmother but she bluntly ignored me. Not even an happy birthday by text, anything.

A day ago she asked annoyed if I wanted a cake, but I refused since they treated it as a normal house chore that no one would like to do and not as a real "present" or something like that.

Did this happen to you? How did you cope with it? I am a bit sad about it and I would like to have some advices from you..
