Just watched the body cam footage from the police response to the violent security guard in Union Square. I wanted to understand why so many shots were fired. I couldn’t imagine being an officer having to confront someone like that. This screenshot shows the security guard aiming his pistol at the police. What a deranged person to respond like that. I’ve never felt more appreciation for SFPD.
