Why do so many Americans lack the understanding that other nations collaborate in their oppression?

A lot of these Americans just seem to always blame the White House, the Wall St bankers, the Federal Reserve, the Pentagon, Silicon Valley, etc... it's almost like the rest of the world is invisible.

In other countries, the inhabitants are usually quite aware that foreign governments and corporations have an influence in their country.

In other words, many Americans view foreign governments and corporations as just benign players when really they likewise have a share in profiteering from the exploitation of citizens, visa-holders, and illegals. They likewise depend on American laws and policies to ensure that their investments have returns.

Three major ones I can think of are China, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. But this is likewise the case even with a nation like Poland, Japan, and the Emirates, who bank on American arms manufacturing.

Why do Americans hardly include this network of foreign agents as collaborators in their own oppression? For sure, American corporations and politicians would be much weaker if these ties were addressed and cut.
