GPU hotspot over 100c

[SOLVED] Thermal Pads were a little too thick even though they're the right size. Squished them a bit and now GPU is running normal again! Not sure why this became a problem all a sudden but glad its fixed :D

Hello, I've been having this issue where my GPU started overheating over the last month or so. I really didn't notice anything until after I got done playing Starfield and started up Rainbow Six Siege. I notice something was off when I was in the main menu and my PC sounded like a jet engine which was odd to me bc I've never heard my PC this loud even when playing Cyberpunk and starfield at max settings. Now my GPU gets super hot when playing anything. Siege is typically a CPU heavy game and I usually get 600-800 FPS but after seeing that my fans would jump close to 3000 rpm I capped the frames at 300. After that I noticed on HWMonitor my GPU "hotspot" would reach over 90c even when my frames are capped at 300. I ran a 5 min benchmark with uncapped FPS and these where the results. https://imgur.com/a/LyBmizq . I think its very odd how the Hotspot is nearly 40c over the GPU. Below is everything I have tried and my specs. Thanks for reading and hopefully someone can Help.

Up to the creation of this post this is everything I tried and looked into:

-Changed GPU thermal pads twice making sure I used the right sizes.

-Changed GPU thermal paste first using noctua NT-H2 then using Artic MX-4

-I have no Overclocks or Fan curves set, everything is default.

-Downloaded MSI afterburner and Zotac FireStorm to see if enabling custom fan curves but leaving all the values default would potentially overwrite anything that could be causing it, no luck.

-Reset BIOS settings to default.-Dusted my PC.

-Redownloaded the latest NVIDIA Drivers.

-Scanned my pc with my anti-virus (bitdefender) to make sure no one is mining WaifuCoin in the background, nothing.

-Used DDU and uninstalled and reinstalled all NVIDIA drivers.

-Updated BIOS

-Completely wiped my Drive and reinstalled Windows
