Not only it's a bad argument, it's also annoying and condensing. People who use it don't really defend their point or counter an argument, they just use it to appear smarter. Like bro, I know you the last thing you read is the hungry caterpillar or something, you are not fooling anyone, you are just as stupid as the person you are arguing with, with a little more superiority complex.
