Non casino hotels near the Strip?

My grandparents won a raffle and received a voucher for up to $1500 CAD for flights and accommodation in vegas. They've been before however and feel a bit too old to go traveling, so they offered the voucher to me and my friend. We're only 19 though so we can't stay anywhere with a casino, and were planning to walk most places, so somewhere far from the strip wouldn't really be convenient. Doesn't need to be anything crazy just close walking distance to the strip and on the cheaper side ($200 or less) if possible. Would really appreciate any reccomendations I was having trouble finding one on my own that wasn't pretty far or more expensive. Thanks!
